Selle An-Atomica saddles are made from Watershed waterproof leather. Both models feature the "LD" slot to allow the saddle's leather to move w/a rider's sit bones. The difference is in the laminate layer under the leather. The "standard", now called the Legacy, features a smaller laminate the allows more flex. The "Clydesdale" has a fully supported laminate.
